Yarn in the art room!

We have been creating so many amazing things with yarn in the art room this month! The Pre-K classes created yarn decorated mittens after reading the book "The Mitten Tree" by Candace Christiansen. The Kindergarteners created yarn people after reading the book "Extra Yarn" by Mac Barnett. The first and second graders learned how to create adorable wrapped yarn ornaments (while working on their fine motor skills)! The third graders had an amazing time learning how to weave with yarn and the forth and fifth graders loved making the classic camp craft of god's eyes!
